  • First Street, Manchester

    Working with CBRE, we programmed two months of ‘winter thrills’ inside a tipi in front of Manchester’s iconic HOME arts venue.

    From Christmas Card Making to Love Actually yoga, Botanical Tonic Workshop, ‘Future Culture’ panel and pop-up small business markets, the activations had two clear objectives:

    Provide social glue for the 1000+ resident staff workers on site currently disconnected. Grow a new database of currently unknown emails for future communications.

    Provide ‘what’s on’ activities for local residents to encourage them to come to site and spend at on-site restaurants and amenity before / after the events.

  • St Helen's Council / CBRE

    Complete Christmas Activation. Creative Workshops Programming. Independent Retail Curation. Street Food Trader Curation. Meanwhile Space Usage. Event Staff and Site Management.

    Working with St Helens Council and CBRE to create an alternative, local-supporting Christmas experience in the heart of St Helens. Completely new geographic region for many stakeholders. Council emphasis on local partnerships. Deep dive into local, appropriate suppliers and relationship build / outreach.

    Fast turnaround from green light to start date (4 weeks).

    Curation of 4 activations per week (Thursday - Sunday) and rotating retail / food and beverage.

    Encourage footfall to the Town Centre, supporting retailers and market traders.

  • Colchester Business Park

    Internal placemaking project. Alfresco Pop-up. Street food, fitness classes, creative workshops, rotating retail. Flyer and Signage Design and Production.

    Workplace Wellbeing for 600 resident onsite workers disconnected by Covid.

    Improving Internal Onsite Communication. Previously little central comms and very few emails known.

  • Ace & Tate

    To celebrate the launch of Ace & Tate’s balance manifesto, Yolk’s sister magazine, Yolklore partnered with Ace & Tate for a one-off party at Ace & Tate’s flagship Manchester store. We programmed DJ sets with Reform Radio, cute fruit canapés with Lauren Wall, donuts by Siop Shop, beers by ABC Brewing and Softs by Something & Nothing and ran the guest list, marketing and photography.

  • Float Festival

    Practicing what we preach, Float Festival was a collaboration between wellness practitioners, The Vibrancy Hub and Yolk to build Yolk’s brand and reflect our values. The festival was anchored by the quote: “In a World of Sink or Swim, let us be your Float.” It prioritised creative and mental wellbeing as much as physical.” Yolk curated, marketed, produced and event managed the day.

  • Pan Macmillan

    DescriptioYolk worked with Pan Macmillan to help launch Molly Flatt’s ‘The Charmed Life of Alex Moore’ into regional UK cities. Inspired by the book, the theme for the panels was questioning our own interpretations of success. The panels featured Lucy Sheridan, The Comparison Coach, Natasha Sayce-Zelem, Head of Tech at Sky, Dior Bediako, Founder of Pepper Your Talk and Jo Morfee, Co-Founder of InnovateHer. Yolk curated the speakers, led on operations, designed digital and print graphics and ran all local social media and marketing.n goes here

  • Bumble App

    When Whitney Wolfe Herd’s Bumble app wanted to break Manchester they came to us for a 6-month event series across the city. In exchange for an app download people were invited to a free event. To build the Bumble Date, Bumble BFF and Bumble Bizz brands, we held bi-monthly events from gif-making to free blowdrys, book launches with Emma Gannon to live cello yoga events and collaging with Mean Mail at WeWork.
